As you've seen in our previous post, we have some amazing fashion designers worldwide. Today we will cover a great young Irish fashion designer Caoimhe Murphy. The designer graduated with a BA in Fashion Design from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, in 2019. Since graduating, Murphy has worked under several fashion brands, including Helen Cody, Simone Rocha, and Sorcha O'Rallaigh. Caoimhe's designs are made of delicate materials like fine silks, taffeta, and tulle. All of Murphy's pieces are made by hand in Dublin. Her designs are contemporary and feminine pieces. Most of her collections are very fun and rich in volume, with a mixture of textures and embellishments that the designer manipulate by hand. The brand is committed to sustainability; in her collections, we find GOTS-printed organic cotton using OEKO-Tex-certified inks and recycled or repurposed materials. The brand vision is that all the pieces are made to last and be shared and loved repeatedly. Also, the brand offers free repairs on all its designs. 

Likewise, all the packaging, tags, and POS materials are sourced and printed locally.

How Do I Love Thee AW22 Collection

1. Here we see a pink printed outfit. The top and skirt are made of organic cotton. The bishop sleeves add volume and feminine touch to this look. 

2. As seen here, As we see here, again, Murphy adds her heart-shaped embellishment in this midi-length tulle skirt and ruffles in the black blouse. 

3. For this look the designer created. a short puff-sleeve printed top in petrol and pink tones. The blouse and skirt are made of organic cotton satin. 

4. For the following design, we see a black bomber jacket. It is made of 100% silk organza with ruffle embellishment. This classic jacket can be worn through all seasons. 

5. Here, we can appreciate a contemporary pale pink tulle midi dress with ruffles and a hand-beaded glass heart.

6. For this outfit, we can see how the puffed sleeves of the top give volume to the top made of 100% silk with a heart glass-beading. Likewise, the designer combined the blue top with a faux leather skirt. 

7. For this oversized babydoll minidress, the designers created volume and sophistication by adding puffed sleeves to this dress. This piece could be perfect for a casual or formal occasion.

8. Moving on to Murphy's next design, this black dress has small pleat details on the bodice and the shoulders, creating a sophisticated look. Once again, the inverted-puffed sleeves add volume to this beautiful midi-dress. 

9. This look again shows us the mix of textures and volume in the designer pieces by creating this dark blue velvet party skirt. 

10. In this last look, we see two pieces In this last look, we see two pieces a tulle top with ruffled sleeves and a skirt with and made a heart-ruffle shape on the side.

In conclusion, as illustrated by the images of Murphy's designs, it is clear that her style focuses primarily on feminine, sophisticated, and contemporary silhouettes. With embellishments and textures as the designer's stamp. Likewise, in her garments, we can appreciate vivid colors and luxurious features, like the volume and the ruffles in many of her pieces. We can identify the designer's chic and feminine touch in each of her creations.
